Rohrmoos offers so much, but above all, all the delights
of a winter holiday spent in a car-free setting.
Plus convenient access to the slopes in the
midst of the 4-hill ski area of "Planai- Hochwurzen-
Reiteralm- Hauser Kaibling". With your
"Live- dabei- Ticket", you can also take full
advantage of Austria's biggest ski alliance, the
Ski Amadé.
The picture-book landscapes of the Untertal and
Obertal valleys are flanked by high ridges and
alpine peaks. Seemingly endless cross-country ski
trails, winter hiking paths and the tracks of
horse-drawn sleighs, wend their way through forests
covered deep in snow. A winter's picture with
names that are as enchanting as the nature itself: Tetter
Moor, Crystal Trails, Silberstein Trail.
If you love a broad selection of sports, you will
find just what you've been looking for. The
challenge of, just once in your life, slicing your
way down the slopes of the Planai or Hochwurzen,
experiencing the steepness of the hill as it drops
down to the finish, is definitely something not to
be missed. Whether you prefer to hop aboard the
4-seater chair lift and ride to the summit, take a
ski route out to the moguls hill, or savor that
unique sense of freedom as you enjoy a bird's-eye
view from beneath a paraglider - absolutely nothing
stands in your way!
The Hochwurzen, a place for never-ending fun and
excitement - infinitely long, splendidly groomed
slopes, alongside challenging steep runs which cut
through the forest, are guaranteed to set your pulse
racing with excitement. And let's not forget - the
floodlit toboggan run, which winds its way down from
the summit of the Hochwurzen! Daily (except Sunday)
