Cancellation option Covid-19 in summer 2021

Bookings for the summer season 2021 can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. You do not have to provide any justification for cancellations.

Less than 14 days before arrival the following cancellation rules apply:

14 to 7 days before arrival 70% of the total amount will be charged.
and from 6 days or in case of no arrival 90% of the total stay will be charged.

If you cancel within 14 days of scheduled arrival, we guarantee you NO CANCELLATION CHARGES if any of the following apply:

  • The “Corona Warning Light” operated by the Austrian Federal Government now classifies your intended holiday destination as a RED ZONE
  • A Level 6 travel warning has been issued for your own home country or home district.
  • The guest or other persons living in the same household have tested positive for corona (medical certification of this fact may not be more than 48 hours old) or a government-ordered quarantine remains in effect at the previously scheduled time of arrival. In this case, the guest is required to present the host with appropriate documentation of the circumstances.

In all other cases the usual cancellation conditions apply.

Hygiene and safety precautions

Please follow the current measures. There is no longer a mask requirement for hotels and restaurants.

The check-in at the hotel or the entry to Austria is possible if you meet one of the 3 following criteria:


Officially recognized negative test results for the specified time period:Negative PCR test (validity: 72 hours).

  • Negative antigen test from test lane, pharmacy, etc. (Validity: 48 hours)
  • Antigen tests for self-testing (digital), recorded in an official data processing system (validity: 24 hours)

For children 12 years and older, school tests are also considered entry test, children up to 12 do not need a test.


  • Segregation certificate for a person proven to have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the six months prior to the planned testing
  • Medical confirmation of a molecularly confirmed infection that has occurred in the last six months and is currently expired
  • Proof of neutralizing antibodies (antibody test), which must not be older than three months


  • Proof of vaccination - first vaccination counts as proof from day 22 and then counts as proof for three months from vaccination for admissions or for nine months if you already had COVID-19 21 days before first vaccination
  • Second vaccination is valid as proof for nine months from the initial vaccination
  • For vaccinations where only one vaccination is scheduled, this is considered proof from the 22nd day and is then considered proof for nine months from the vaccination for entries
